Now in its 100th year and with over 4500 students on its double campus registered for the academic year 2006-2007, EDHEC Business School is the leading management education group in France.
Ranked in the top 5 business schools in France, it is the leader in international programmes, offering a wide choice of management programmes, 7 of which are targeted specifically at foreign students and taught entirely in English.
In 2006, 37 nationalities joined the Master of Science programmes alone.

While the Business School's two main units, the ESPEME Bachelor programme and the EDHEC Grande Ecole Master programme are present on both the Lille and Nice campus, the School has nevertheless chosen to reinforce the specificity of each campus.
Over the last few years, the Nice campus has been given an increasingly international role with the portfolio of international programmes taught entirely in English on this campus. (Master of Science programmes, The Theseus-EDHEC MBA,Intercontinental Track and English Track (now also available in Lille) thus naturally find their place on this campus.

Banks and Financial Institutions from across Europe were invited to meet EDHEC students and present careers, job and internship opportunities last week. The event was organised to enable students to meet representatives from London-based investment banks, European and French banks and business organisations. Leading financial institutions from Europe and the UK participated in the event. Read next page
A three hour seminar on effective self Marketing was conducted by the Bill Faust in the Nice campus recently. The seminar focused on identifying and evidencing what you are employed for. Understanding the needs and motivations of the buyer, fitting your competencies and transferrable skills to position yourself in the most attractive package/brand to the buyer (employer). Spreading EDHEC’s outstanding reputation in the world of Finance across the Atlantic, EDHEC’s Prof Joëlle Miffre, Professor of Finance and member of the EDHEC Risk and Asset Management Research Centre, conducted a Seminar on Investing in Commodities in New York last month. She was joined by Hilary Till, co-founder of Premia Capital Management, LLC, a principal of Premia Risk Consultancy, Inc., and research associate with the EDHEC Risk and Asset Management Research Centre. Prof Till, who is a practitioner, delivered a practical insight into how she manages risk and the hedging strategies she uses for her portfolio. Read next page

Industry veteran turned head hunter cum executive coach Mr Patrick Fearon was on the Nice campus on the evening of October 8, 2008 to give a guest lecture on Investment Banking career paths to the students of Msc and MBA programme. Patrick spent 16 years with JP Morgan before making a career shift to executive head hunting and executive coaching. The video telecast of the presentation was available the following day for EDHEC students to review on the School’s on-line learning platform. Read next page
