Laurent Aléonard - Professeur au Département Comptabilité

Professor Aléonard has worked as a senior management controller in different industries before he entered into the academic community almost 14 years ago. He developed a unique qualitative research methodology based on clinical case studies which he extensively used in his doctorate that focused on the transformation of management control systems in high technology industries.
He continues to consult for industries as well as for French public administration, and he is currently conducting a field research based on comparative studies of performance measurement in competitive and public sectors. He directed the EDHEC Executive MBA in 2002-2004. He is now in charge of the EDHEC European Apprenticeship Programm, which was launched in January 2006 in Paris.

Gaël Bonnin - Professeur au Département Marketing-Vente

Professor Bonnin has been a faculty member at EDHEC since

2002. After having acquired a Masters Degree in Business Administration, he obtained a doctorate in Marketing from the University of Burgundy in 2000. He worked during two years as associate professor at the National Institute of Telecommunication Business School in Paris, and then joined EDHEC.
His main teaching and research interests are consumer behaviour, strategic marketing, qualitative studies and retailing. Professor Bonnin has a great experience of executive seminars (Bonduelle, La Poste, Auchan, SNCF) and of consulting assignments (Castorama, Interbrew, Caisse d'Epargne). Professor Bonnin has also published in the leading marketing research journals and conferences. Professor Bonnin is now managing a research centre dedicated to consumer behaviour and marketing strategy.

Christophe Collard - Professeur au Département Sciences Juridiques

Christophe CollardAfter his postgraduate research degree in law, Professor Christophe Collard worked for the French government and began teaching at the Lille School of Law. He joined EDHEC's core faculty in 1990 and was quickly given responsibilities, such as the co-management of the Legal Risk Management Major Programme. After a period as Head of the Law department at EDHEC, he was given the responsibility for the School's EQUIS re-accreditation process from 2004 to 2005. He has wide experience of teaching in foreign countries (especially in Poland and Algeria).
Professor Collard teaches Antitrust Law, Contract Law, and Consumer Law, and maintains an active research agenda in the areas of Competition Law and Legal Management He has presented numerous papers at French and international conferences He is the co-author of one of the best selling business law handbooks in France. He has also garnered several awards for excellence in writing and teaching. In 2000, a major French weekly magazine (L'Expansion) which established the list of the core faculty members of a future European e-university selected Christophe Collard as the law professor of this virtual dream-team.

Denis Dauchy - Professeur au Département Management & Stratégie


Since his doctorate degree, Professor Denis DAUCHY has been mainly involved in managerial role at EDHEC Business School. After 4 years as the EDHEC Grande Ecole Program Director on the Lille campus, he has been in charge of the New Programs unit of EDHEC Executive which includes the open and tailor made Executive Education seminars.
His competencies are clearly recognized as being in the development and management of programs. He is also involved in teaching activities both for first degree and executive education programs. He participates in Management & Strategy Department activities by creating new pedagogical tools and is a major link between the corporate world and the academic programs.

Eric Labbé - Professeur au Département Management & Stratégie


Professor Eric Labbé has been a faculty member at EDHEC
since 1997. After having acquired an undergraduate degree in Electronics and a Masters Degree in Business Administration, he worked as an engineer for five years . He has also been involved in the European Strategic Program for Research and Development in Information Technology and, more specifically, in the ITAQUA project (# EP6572).


In 2001, he obtained a doctorate in Management from the University of Nice-Sophia Antipolis. His research focuses on problems encountered by SMEs in Quality implementation. He teaches operation management, quality management supply chain management and project management at undergraduate and graduate levels.

Philippe Touron - Professeur au Département Comptabilité et Contrôle de Gestion

In 2006, Professor TOURON obtained a doctorate entitled Adoption of International GAAP by French firms. His primary teaching and research area revolves around international accounting.  He has already paperpublished in a high quality journals. 

He has already presented some of the conclusions of his dissertation at numerous conferences and has prepared a teaching module in the same area for the Master of Science Programs. He also teach in Executive MBA. He has published in the area of Research Methodology which is one of his main research interests.  He is also involved in the professional world as part of a Finance Manager's think- tank about the implementation of IAS.

Marcus Hurt : Professeur au Département Management & Stratégie


Professor Hurt is Professor in the Management and Strategy Department of EDHEC Business SChool. He has also directed the Master's in European Business Program, the International Residency Programs and both the EDHEC Full-time and Executive MBA Programs. His specializations include: Competitive analysis and strategic options, financial structures and industries, European industrial organization and industry dynamics, European international strategies and structures, History of management theory, International business and management, Organizational behavior and management. He has also delivered seminars on Resume-writing and job-seeking for Students, Graduates and Executives. Major current research focuses on the internationalization strategies of food-retaiing companies, power and politics in organizations and corporate governance. Specializations include Competitive Dynamics, Industry Structures, Business Models and Multinational Management. Professor Hurt devotes much of his attention to case-writing based on in-the-field research, working closely with firms and their management.

Pierre-Guy Hourquet - Directeur EDHEC Executive, Directeur Executive MBA, Professeur au Département Management & Stratégie

Pierre-Guy Hourquet is in charge of EDHEC Executive since 2005. He is a faculty member at EDHEC since 2001 and has obtained his PhD in 2003. He has a great experience of executive seminars.
